My First Nyepi In Bali⎮Day in The Life Vlog

Hi beautiful friends! Recently I experienced my first Nyepi in Bali, also known as "silent day", and I vlogged the whole day to share this unique experience with you! This year Nyepi fell on March 25th, and every year the whole island is shut down on this day and no one is allowed to go outside. The Balinese dedicate Nyepi to fasting, silence and meditation- before welcoming the new year. Due to the current situation going on in the world, the next day the government decided to extend Nyepi and issue a lockdown, so once again we couldn't go outside. This whole experience gave me a lot of insight and appreciation for the things we usually take for granted. I hope you enjoy the vlog and continue to stay healthy and safe xxx
