10. Arcadia Pennsylvania - 0 Gauge USA - Very detailed layout with alot of trackwork in a small space with great sounding dcc locomotives shunting wagons.

9. Lacey Dale - N Gauge - The thing i most liked about this layout is the height and depth of the back scene, not many layouts go much higher than 6 inches with hills or mountains but this is brilliant aswell as trains running on 2 levels it gives alot of operational interest.

8. Cambells Quarry- SM32 Narrow Gauge - This layout shows what can be achieved with large scale trains in a small space with lots of interest and operational capability, the person who created the diggers is certainly very talented.

7. Croft Mill Wharf - 0 Gauge 1970s-80s - One of my favorite types of layouts at the moment are TMDS, and 0 gauge is getting really popular at the moment and you can see why this layout is in a relatively small space for the scale and can accommodate alot of locomotives and its great to watch and listen to them.

6. Cuyahoga - Z Gauge USA - I havent seen many good quality Z Gauge layouts till i saw Republic steel which was in last years top 10, but this one is alot bigger and has everything and just shows that even when the scale is so small theres no compromise to detail on this layout.

5. Cadiford Water - 00 Gauge - Another great scenic layout with trains running along a harbour and a castle at one end were trains enter the fiddle yard.

4. Mortomley - 00 Gauge - This layout is what id class as a micro layout or scene with a fiddle yard either side and at the time of filming was fully automated with different trains passing through the single platform station, there is alot of detail in this layout and is very enjoyable to watch.

3. Carrowbeg - 00 Gauge Irish Railways - This is another layout thats different in that we dont get to see many Irish model railways and this one was packed full of operational interest and plenty of diverse rolling stock and was probably my favorite of that exhibition.

2, Bear Creek Junction - HO Scale - This layout was amazing in that it had alot of height and depth and had running trains on all different levels, standard gauge and narrow gauge with working dcc sound, i could spend hours watching this layout and it must take alot of time and effort to set up.

1. Deadmans Lane - Again going back to TMDS i like watching videos of trains passing the network rail base in derby and this seems to be a model representation of it and its got everything in terms of modern rolling stock and lots of variety of trains running aswell as trains going up an down sidings in the yard and again dcc sound makes it for me.
