My Top 100 Vocaloid Songs of 2019

2019 was a great year for Vocaloid. We had two songs from January make it to the Hall of Legend, one of them taking just 3 weeks!! Meika Hime and Mikoto were very successful and Mikoto's demo song "Ángel" made it to 1 million views as well!! DECO*27 posted constantly and released his album Android Girl. Everybody sort of went into a low state after Wowaka's death. People are still mourning and some are stronger than before. Wowaka brought us love and asked difficult questions with his songs, and we searched for answers with him. I wsnt to say thank you to him. Thank you for your hard work.
The tribute art and music for him was just.. Amazing. Shr's songs trended during the summer and man did that make me happy. Shr is so deserving. Finally we ended the year with new MARETU songs as well as his album "SIU", featuring both new and older songs. Of course I would love to mention all of the producers coming around for more 10th anniversaries, such as Sasakure.UK remaking songs from his Doomsday series. It always brings a smile to my face seeing producers celebrate their works.

If I were to hope for one thing for Vocaloid in 2020, it would be for the continuation of hard work and great music. Old and new producers both adding to the history and art of Vocaloid. These songs are part of the lives of hundreds of thousands, and seeing this activity grow into much more makes my heart pound. What an awesome time to be alive.
