My Top Kpop Songs of the Month | April 2020

This month was a great month for music! there were a lot more releases this month than normal that i've been really in to. more thoughts down below.

Girlkind - Future: my truly underrated faves. they finally had a real comeback though! i'm so excited to see them active again as a whole group. The song is pretty good for what it is and i'm happy to be here supporting them!!!

GWSN - Bazooka: this is such a fun song!! i always love when they have comebacks bc their title tracks are always so much fun.

Oh My Girl - Nonstop: the more i listen to this song the more i love it. i'm so happy for them and all the success they've been seeing with this comeback. they totally deserve it! the styling for this era though it so great and i love it a lot lol.

NCT Dream - Ridin': UHHHHH i'm so happy they're back???? this song is great. as of typing this i haven't had the chance to listen to the whole album but i'm sure it's great! i'm always excited for the dreamies.

Chungha - Stay Tonight: This song and mv are so cool. i'm so happy with the direction she took for this song bc it suits her so well??

H&D - Soul: This song truly made me remember why i started supporting hangyul two long years ago. he's so incredibly talented and it's so insanely evident in this song. i love this song for them so much and i really love the album too!!!

Cignature - ASSA: this song honestly had to grow on me a bit, but i really do love it now! it's a lot fun and i hope we can get a lot more fun music from them really soon.

April - Lalalilala: i'm honestly not surprised i like this song so much, but i'm just so happy about it??? this is one of those songs i can just put on repeat and i feel the same way i did when April Story came out which i also LOVED. not sure why i haven't tried to stan yet, but they're honestly great girls.

Onewe - Q: okay. i honestly have my grievances with this song but i won't really go into them here bc i don't wanna get attacked even tho i don't think anyone actually reads these. but i'll just say this: i love the song a lot but i don't think hwasa needed so many lines or so much screen time in the mv. it's a ONEWE song and it sucks that she kind of outshined them on their own song. but also, even though i'm not the hugest overall fan of her or mamamoo really, i think she added some good elements to the song and i mean.. it's a onewe song so of course i'm going to love it. i just wish there could be some adjustments. anyways..

Imfact - Lie: THOSE ARE MY FUCKING BABIESSSSSS I LOVE THEM SO MUCHHHHHH. i'm so happy we finally got a comeback after so long omgggggg. i've been listening to this song nonstop and YES i am back on my 100% ungjae bullshit.
