total of 10 ministers, including senior BJP leader Anil Vij, were inducted as part of the new Bharatiya Janata Party- Jannayak Janata Party cabinet in Haryana.

Out of the 10 ministers, eight are from the BJP while there is one minister from the JJP and another independent.

With the fresh induction, the number of ministers in the Manohar Lal Khattar-led state cabinet has increased to 12 including him.
Senior BJP leaders and MLA from Ambala Cantonment area, Anil Vij, took oath first as a cabinet minister. He was followed by another senior BJP leader Kanwar Pal Gujjar, who was also sworn in as cabinet minister.

Others who took oath as state cabinet ministers include BJP's Vallabhgarh MLA Moolchand Sharma, Independent MLA Ranjit Singh Chautala, younger brother of OP Chautala and BJP MLA Banwari Lal.

Meanwhile, BJP MLAs Om Prakash Yadav, Kamlesh Dhandha, Sandeep Singh and JJP MLA Anup Dhanak took oath as minister of state.

To sum it up, six MLAs took oath as cabinet ministers while four other legislators were sworn in as minister of state. Meanwhile, Manohar Lal Khattar and JJP's Dushyant Singh Chautala had taken oath on October 27 as chief minister and deputy Chief Minister respectively.

Prominent among those were present on the occasion included Union minister Narender Singh Tomar and Krishanpal Gujjar, state BJP chief Subash Barala, state BJP incharge Anil Jain, speaker Gian Chand Gupta, JJP state chief Nishan Singh, former ministers Ram Bilash Sharma, Capt Abhimanyu and Manish Grover
