New mother confirmed as South Australia's fourth coronavirus case
Description
The mother of a baby has been confirmed as South Australia’s fourth case of coronavirus after she arrived in Adelaide from Iran via Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Health officials are working to locate her flight number and are asking anyone who arrived in Adelaide from Kuala Lumpur on the first of March to contact authorities.
The woman’s baby is also being tested for the virus and the pair will remain in home isolation until authorities find an infant-friendly quarantine facility.
South Australia's previous cases have recovered and been released from quarantine, including a passenger from the Diamond Princess cruise ship.
