SOLDIER KILLED IN KARABAKH

One soldier of Karabakh Defense Army was killed and another was injured at a military outpost in the northeastern direction of the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
Arthur Ajamyan (born in 1998) was fatally wounded, while Davit Melikbekyan (1999) was wounded in yet unclear circumstances, the Karabakh Defense Army said in a statement.
By the way, as reported on Friday, another soldier received a gunshot wound from from adversary. The wounded serviceman was immediately transferred to the local military hospital.

ARMENIAN AND AZERBAIJANI FMS MEETING

The meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov, will be held on December 4 in Bratislava, Armenian FM’s spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan wrote on her Facebook.
The meeting will take place with the mediation and participation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Artsakh parliament’s speaker Ashot Ghoulyan has been nominated in the 2020 Artsakh presidential election, with Artsakh Hero, General Vitali Balasanyan also giving his consent to run in the elections.
During his visit to Artsakh on Sunday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan along with Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan met the presidential candidates.
“I reaffirmed my position that holding free, fair, transparent presidential and parliamentary elections in Artsakh in line with international standards is extremely important, the PM wrote on his Facebook.
By the way, during the visit, Armenian and Artsakh leaders also visited several sections of the northern borderline.
“They say security, army is a priority, but I say that security, army is the number one priority,” the PM noted in Artsakh.

WOMAN CHARGED IN ARMENIA

A woman has been charged with attempting to buy two children for adoption.
A female resident of Yerevan, born in 1976 attempted to adopt and buy children. The woman, 43, had reached a deal- with foreign citizens, in one case, and with Armenian citizens in the other - to launch -  in exchange for €20,000 and $5,000, respectively - their adoption of healthy children in orphanages in Armenia, but she failed to accomplish her goal. The court granted the investigator's motion to remand her in custody, but it allowed her to be released on bail.

ARMENIAN KIDNAPPED IN ABKHAZIA FREED

Kidnapped Armenian Armen Grigoryan, 43, has been released in Abkhazia on Sunday. The kidnapped was found within operational-search measures in one of the villages of the Gudauta district. Several people were detained on suspicion of having committed an abduction on November 24.

ANIF AND MASDAR COMPANY DEAL

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has arrived on a working visit to the UAE where he attended the ceremony of signing of formal agreement between the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and Masdar company.
The agreement envisages development of solar power projects with a total capacity of 400 megawatts (MW) in Armenia, an investment of between $300 million and $320 million into the Armenian economy.

Armenia’s capital Yerevan has been included in Forbes list of the 10 underrated destinations to visit in 2020. 
"Known as the world’s “oldest Christian country,” Armenia is one of the most fascinating places you can visit, what with its grand temple ruins and UNESCO-recognized Christian monasteries,” the source noted.
According to the source, Yerevan “is one of the longest continually-inhabited cities on earth, and is known for its majestic views of Mt. Ararat—Armenia’s national symbol”
