Description
The first group of patients has been admitted to the 1,000-bed hospital that was built at break-neck speed in Wuhan city, the epicentre of the novel coronavirus outbreak. The Huoshenshan Hospital was built in just 10 days. It is one of the two dedicated facilities constructed to cope with the outbreak. Meanwhile, Premier Li Ke Qiang has urged businesses to adopt a flexible work schedule to avoid large-scale population movements. Many regional governments have further extended the Chinese New Year break by another week. In Hubei province, offices and schools will remain shut until Feb 13.
