Odyssey OSB Top 16 | American Beatbox
Description
Top 16 Wildcard entries for the ODYSSEY OSB (Online Showcase Battle)
Competing for the $1,000 USD PRIZE
Judges:
Colaps (FR)
So-So (JPN)
Tom Thum (AUS)
This is a new style of online battle.
Instead of two competitors matching up head-to-head, like in a bracket-style battle, Odyssey OSB is a knockout-style battle where only the best of each round move on.
All competitors have to submit videos showcasing the best of their abilities. Once ranked by our panel of judges, the videos with the top scores continue to the next round.
The winner of Odyssey OSB will receive the grand prize of $1,000 USD!
The Odyssey in Greek mythology, is a story of a hero who had to endure increasingly difficult tasks that extended into one long and wild journey. This online showcase battle will also become more difficult as each round passes and competitors move further along. Each new round will increase in length, so battlers will need more skill, stamina, and creativity to avoid getting knocked out of the battle.
This event is 100% free to watch and be a part of, and hosted entirely online, and will feature some of the best beatboxers from around the world. Be sure to tune in at Youtube.com/AmericanBeatbox every Friday in May to see the best of the best moving on!

Beatboxing was born in 1980’s NYC as one of the five elements of hip-hop with the guidance of legends like Doug E Fresh, Kid Lucky, and Rahzel. After decades of evolution underground and overseas, innovation continues to push the art form.
American Beatbox is a platform for the beatboxing community to carry the torch into the future, dedicated to helping beatboxers reach their potential and connect with audiences worldwide via content, livestreams, merchandise, battles and events.
The American Beatbox Championships is the premiere beatbox competition in the USA. Every November, over Veteran’s Day Weekend, the most talented beatboxers from around the country come to NYC to compete for the titles, bragging rights, and a spot to represent their country at the World Champs. 2019 marks the ten year anniversary of the ABCs, and the first official year of American Beatbox launching as a platform.
