In the world of One Piece, there are fruits that grant magical powers called Devil Fruits. These fruits can grant fantastic powers like control over gravity, turning you into a being of fire, or ice, and even can make your body into rubber. One Piece’s magic system is very soft. There aren’t a lot of rules for Devil Fruits. If you eat one, you can’t swim...ever, and you can only have one fruit at a time, well unless you are Blackbeard. For the longest time it seemed that Devil Fruit Users were the strongest beings in One Piece. It wasn’t until around the time skip that Haki was introduced as a concept. This power gave Non Devil Fruit Users a chance against the magical Devil Fruits. Though there have been powerful normal beings, like Arlong and Zoro, Haki was kind of the great equalizer in the One Piece world.

In this video we will be looking at some of the most remarkable fights between Devil Fruit Users and Non Devil Fruit Users. There are dozens to choose from, but for this list we will look at only a handful that are truly excellent. We’ll look at some early fights in the series like Luffy against Arlong. We will even look at some where Luffy has to fight his own crew! Boy those fights really packed a punch. Let us know in the comments what your favorite fight in One Piece is.
