Overwatch 2 is Killing Overwatch? - No News Problem?

The lack of Overwatch 2 news is causing problems for Overwatch - even when Overwatch is in a really good place right now! The current game balance means we're moving into a map focused meta, and lots of heroes are viable - it's the BEST the games been for years. But that's not the problem. Overwatch 2 is the problem! From the Overwatch 2 announcement we know Blizzards plan was to always go quiet on Overwatch 2 until the next Blizzcon - so is this lack of news really that worrying? I'm feeling disappointed at the lack of meaningful news, even if it's expected... However, loads of you guys who've reached out to me over the last couple of days are saying it's a very real concern! Overwatch 2 news, when it starts hitting I'm hoping will reignite our fire for the Overwatch!
