Rapper Badshah has been summoned by the Mumbai Police to record his statement in connection with a case relating to fake followers on social media. He was being interrogated for around 10 hours on 9 august. Baadshah's Instagram account @badboyshah figured in the investigation by the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) and the rapper was asked to join the investigation on August 3. However, he failed to appear on the said date after which he has again asked to appear before CIU officials on August 6. Some top actresses from Bollywood could also be summoned by the investigation team to record their statements in connection with the case.
