PAYA LEBAR DURING CIRCUIT BREAKER || by Stanlig Films

This area in Paya Lebar is like a central area where you can find the MRT station/internchage (Green Line - Tanah Merah to Tuas South link line and Circle line - Marina Bay to Harbourfront)

Around the area are Singpost Centre, Paya Lebar Square and Paya Lebar Quarter.

This is usually a very busy place every day during the working days and even on weekends. They have plenty of retail and food outlets here as well.

But during the Circuit Breaker, this place is fairly quiet.

Brief trivia:
Paya Lebar was a large, swampy area close to the Kallang River, hence its name. Paya means "swamp" and lebar means "wide" in Malay. This was an extensive and notorious squatter district, whose inhabitants engage in cultivating market produce, including pig and poultry rearing.
