Pentagon: 109 U.S. troops have suffered brain injuries after Iran's missile attack in Bagdad
Description
The U.S. military says more than 100 U.S. troops have sustained mild traumatic brain injuries after Iran launched missiles at a military base in Iraq in early January. So far, 109 U.S. service members have been diagnosed, an increase of 45 since the previous report. Of them, 76 have returned to duty.
Last month, Iran fired ballistic missiles at the Baghdad base in retaliation for the U.S. drone strike that killed top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.
