"Pick of the Day" - 1954 Harmony H-44 Stratotone and 2012 Carr Sportsman
Description
Today's little curiosity is a fantastic Copper finish Harmony H-44 Stratotone from 1954! This one is in top notch playing condition with a new nut, refret, bridge, updated tuners, as well as a non-original tailpiece. Of course, it has the chunky "baseball bat" type of neck that old Harmony and Kay instruments are known for, and the original Copper finish looks so cool thanks to the years of playing this guitar has under its belt. The DeArmond "Hershey Bar" pickup has a fat and lively sound that is both usable and very unique! For amplification today we're running a 2012 Carr Sportsman amp, and putting it all in the hands of Dan Phelps!
