Police chase ends feet from Gold River home

A driver was detained Thursday afternoon after leading officers on a chase through Sacramento County, which ended with a crash in Gold River. One man said the crash ended about 30 feet from where he was sitting inside of a home. He said it was fortunate the driver crashed into a tree and not into someone or a home.
