Double Top Dollar is an iconic slot machine and remains a classic even till this day! You win by landing a winning payline and as it's a Double Diamond slot, any time a wild Double Diamond symbol lands and is used in a winning combination, it multiplies it by 2 and if two land, it multiplies your win by 4. And if all three land, you score the Top Award, which is 1600 credits on a 2-coin machine. Note that landing these symbols in combination with the bonus symbol doesn't multiply your bonus in any way.

The real fun is with the bonus, which is triggered by landing the Double Top Dollar bonus symbol on reel 3 after which you are awarded up to 4 offers where each consists of between 1 and 4 dollar amounts and potentially up to two 2x multipliers! After each offer, if you wait a moment, the machine will inform you of your best overall strategy, which is:
Offer 1: Accept if $250 or more (50 credits or more)
Offer 2: Accept if $225 or more (45 credits or more)
Offer 3: Accept if $175 or more (35 credits or more)

One thing to note is that following this strategy will absolutely give you the best return over the long-run although results are random, which means anything can happen! Personally, if Offer 1 is 40 or more credits and I'm playing an extremely high-limit bet, I may consider taking it!

Seeing the 3 Double Diamond Jackpot win brings up another point: just because the machine hit this Jackpot, does that mean it won't hit another? And the answer is, the Jackpot win has absolutely no effect on whether or not another one will occur in the short-term as the machine doesn't have a memory and doesn't base its future payouts on past wins.
