Premier League top scorers: Jamie Vardy nets again
Description
8: Son Heung-min
The South Korea star scored the first goal of Jose Mourinho's reign last weekend and he turned creator this time around, setting up two goals as Tottenham defeated Bournemouth 3-2.

LAST WEEK'S TOP 10
10: Tammy Abraham
9: John Fleck
8: Son Heung-min
7: James Maddison
6: Raheem Sterling
5: Riyad Mahrez
4: Andy Robertson
3: Kevin De Bruyne
2: Sadio Mane
1: Jamie Vardy
5: Kevin De Bruyne (down seven)
Saturday's result was dreadful for Manchester City and meant they now fall further behind leaders Liverpool - the gap now stands at 11 points. But Kevin De Bruyne's goal in the 82nd minute was arguably goal of the season so far.
City's talisman controlled a high clearance with his chest and unleashed a thunderous right-footed strike that rocketed in off the underside of the crossbar to restore his side's lead in the final 10 minutes of the match.
It was a goal fit to win any match but football writes its own tales, as City and De Bruyne found out four minutes later when Jonjo Shelvey levelled the game once again.
POWER RANKINGS
Throughout the 2019-20 season, each week Sportsmail will bring you a Power Rankings table, listing the top 10 hottest players in the Premier League.
As the stories of the season unravel, the rankings will provide a form guide with players moving in and out of the top 10 depending on both their performances in the previous week and also in recent weeks.
4: Wilfried Zaha (new entry)
It seems to be said numerous times every season but Wilfried Zaha looks good enough to play for most teams in Europe. On Saturday, he starred as Palace recorded an eye-catching 2-0 win at Turf Moor against Burnley.
It's two goals in two games now for the Ivory Coast international and while Palace are 11th in the Premier League table, they are only two points from fifth, such is the bunched nature of the standings outside the top four.
Zaha looks to be coming into form at a good time - Palace can back themselves against most teams in their next five games, starting on Tuesday at home to Bournemouth. If their talisman can help them string together a run of wins, who know where they will end up...

3: Jamie Vardy (down two)
The Leicester striker is in the form of his life and the clamour for him to return to the England fold is growing by the week.
This weekend, he sparked Leicester's comeback against Everton with his 13th goal of the season and his 10th strike in his last eight appearances.
It was a quieter display than the fireworks Leicester fans have been used to recently but Vardy stayed alert to convert a cross-shot from Kelechi Iheanacho as Leicester recorded a vital victory.

2: Dele Alli (new entry)
Jose Mourinho's tenure at Tottenham is only three games old but Dele Alli's resurgence is already a remarkable story of his time at White Hart Lane.
His double-strike proved pivotal in Tottenham's 3-2 win over Bournemouth on Saturday and it was victory that saw Spurs rise into fifth place in the Premier League. Things already feel much rosier at White Hart Lane.
Alli now has three goals in as many games under Mourinho and looks to be on the way to regaining the poise in his play that seems to have slowly drifted away in the past 18 months.
It is an ominous sign for Manchester United, who Tottenham host at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Dele Alli's revival under Jose Mourinho continued with a double strike against Bournemouth
1: Virgil van Dijk (new entry)
It was scrappy in the end, but it ultimately does not matter for Liverpool because the three points puts Manchester City further behind them.
Van Dijk scored twice to lead Liverpool to a crucial 2-1 win against Brighton and served a timely reminder as to why he could win the Balon d'Or later on Monday. Both goals were assisted by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Van Dijk looks so authoritative in the air that you sometimes are left wonder why he doesn't score from set pieces every game.
