Ahead of Super Tuesday, President Donald Trump is holding a 'Keep America Great' rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. Days after a rally in Charleston, South Carolina, President Trump supporters lined up overnight outside Charlotte's Bojangles' Coliseum, which will host the rally starting at 7 p.m. et.
President Trump's arrival in Charlotte is expected to coincide with the evening rush hour. Motorists are advised to avoid US 74 (Independence Blvd), which will be closed until the conclusion of the rally. Other roads between the Coliseum and Charlotte Douglas International Airport, including I-77 and I-277, are subject to temporary closures as President Trump's motorcade moves through the city.
On Tuesday, voters in North Carolina will take to the polls to cast ballots in the presidential primary. Following campaign suspensions from democratic hopefuls Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Trump's democratic competition still include former Vice President Joe Biden, former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
