Princeton Public Library presents Jim McCloskey with John Grisham
Description
In partnership with Doubleday and Labyrinth Books, the Princeton Public Library is thrilled to present Jim McCloskey, author of WHEN TRUTH IS ALL YOU HAVE, in conversation with John Grisham, whose minister-turned-prisoner-advocate in THE GUARDIANS was inspired by McCloskey himself.
As the founder of the first organization in the United States committed to freeing the wrongly imprisoned, McCloskey offers a candid and compassionate chronicle of devotion, sacrifice, and vindication. Please join these two brilliant authors and criminal justice reform advocates as they discuss their work and writing.
JIM McCLOSKEY is the founder of Centurion, which works for the freedom of the innocent held in U.S. prisons. He served in the U.S. Navy, patrolling rivers in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam, and spent twelve years in international consulting. He has a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Today McCloskey is retired from active oversight of Centurion, though he continues to pursue cases.
JOHN GRISHAM is the author of thirty-four novels, one work of nonfiction, a collection of stories, and seven novels for young readers.
This event is hosted in partnership between the Princeton Public Library, Labyrinth Books, and Doubleday. For more information and to purchase books by Jim McCloskey and John Grisham, please click here: https://labyrinthbooks.com/events/1230.
