Quarantine Woodworking | Farmhouse Nightstands - Part 1
Description
This is the process of building a pair of farmhouse nightstands! I created the plans for them on Google SketchUp, and came up with a list of materials and lengths. They use common construction lumber available at big box stores - 2x4's for legs ripped to 3", 2x6's for the top ripped to 4.5", 1x2's for stretchers, 1x4's for the bottom slats, 1x6's for the drawers & and 1x10's for the side and back panels.
In this first episode, I cut everything to length and rip some to width, drill all the pocket holes with a Krieg pocket hole jig, set up a table-top jig to build the four sides, and then reconfigure it to attach the sides together.
Next episode will be building the drawers, and sanding the body and the top.
