Rare Two Headed Snake Spotted in Eastern India
Description
A two-headed cobra was seen in India’s Midnapore city, Tuesday, December 10.
The 30 centimeter long monocled cobra caused a stir as it strayed into Ekarukhi village. Villagers fed it milk and refused to hand it over to officials citing its association with mythology.
Experts believe the two heads can be a result of incomplete splitting of embryos or unfavorable environmental factors. (REUTERS)
