'Remain In Mexico' Policy Weighs On Asylum Seekers Ahead Of SCOTUS Decision | NBC News NOW

The Supreme Court is expected to decide if the controversial Remain in Mexico Policy can be enforced. The policy, enacted by the Trump Administration about a year ago, requires asylum seekers to wait in Mexico while their claims are processed. If the court decides against the administration, migrants will be able to cross the border only into California and Arizona. NBC New Now’s Alexa Liautaud went to Matamoros, Mexico, the site of a migrant refugee camp that has boomed since the policy started.
