Renault RS 01 w/ Nissan GT-R Engine || 600Hp Twin-Turbo Monster

A quite unique machine created by Renault Sport only for Racing, the RS01 also has a curriculum now on Hillclimb Racing too, with Phillipe Schmitter now on his second season behind the wheel of the Mid-Engined Twin Turbo V6 Monster.

The 600Hp VR38DETT Engined machine is now much more dialed in and the French veteran has started posting some truly impressive results, winning the GT Class on many events it entered all while being a usual presence among the Top 10 Fastest Touring Car machines in each event it enters.

Using the engine originally used on the Nissan GT-R R35, here it delivers its power to the Rear Wheels through a paddle-commanded 6-speed sequential gearbox, and state-of.the.art electronics to put all this power to the ground. Weighing around 1200Kg, it is a machine that will only get faster over time. Let´s see how it will do during 2020....
