Today we are taking a look at a relatively new, and relatively unknown field watch from Orient. It's also not just any Orient, but an Orient Star. It's the Orient Star Sports Outdoor, which isn't really the best name. To me, the dial has a resemblance to the Rolex Explorer, the holy grail of field watches. So I've started calling this one the Orient Star Explorer, or ExplOrient.

There used to be another watch known as the ExplOrient, but it's been discontinued. So as far as I'm concerned this is the new Explorient. It's a 41mm watch and uses orients its own inhouse movement. A F6N43 caliber. The reference number is also a little confusing. Orient Japan lists it as RK-AU0210B. Yet Orient USA lists it as RE-AU0203B00B.

No matter what you want to call it, it's Orients best field watch currently available.
