I hiked La Rota Vicentina trail in Portugal in 7 days starting in Santiago do Cacém to Lagos. As I did it in December and January, the days were short, so I'd hike into the night. I'd wild camp only along the coast, wore trail runners with gaiters and learned so much more about the trail I want to share.
