Russian Supercomputing Days - day 2 plenary with Jack Dongarra, Thomas Lippert, and Mateo Valero

Chaired by Vladimir Voevodin, the future of HPC was discussed byJack Dongarra, Thomas Lippert, and Mateo Valero at the Russian Supercomputing days. There would not be a TOP500, but a TOP100 if they would do it over again, said Jack Dongarra,Thomas Lippert expects an exascale system in Europe end 2023 or 2024, the pre-exascale MareNostrum5 is not designed to be as fast as possible says Mateo Valero but to have broad usage.
