Scholarship provides opportunity to budding Indigenous scientists | ABC News

A new program is giving aspiring indigenous scientists the opportunity to join national ocean and atmosphere research trips around the country.

The CSIRO has introduced a time at sea scholarship for Indigenous students and the first group are on a scientific voyage from Darwin to Western Australia.

It's the first time the Agency's research vessel has spent a Christmas at sea.
