Interior cabinet secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i has directed chiefs in the country’s Northern Kenya and coastal regions to give information on Al Shabaab sympathizers, in the wake of recent terror attacks staged by the militant group in the regions
At the same time, Matiang'i warned that the government will spare no effort in crushing the terror group and its sympathizers in Kenya.
The interior CS who led the country’s security chiefs in a strategy meeting in Mombasa, also outlined his ministry's top 10 priorities for 2020, only a day after the president did the same for the overall government agenda.
To kenyans' relief, Matiang'i also announced that from 1st July this year, Kenyans applying for passports, IDs and other key documents will now get them in one day.
