Shaving Cream Rain Clouds | O-Cedar Craft for Kids & Easy Cleanup

This is a simple fun project to do with the kids to beat boredom! A great activity for young children who are into science. You can show the kids how rain clouds work. The food coloring is like water molecules in the clouds, as it builds up it becomes heavier than the shaving cream and begins to “rain” down into the water. This is a cheap and easy craft that you can keep on hand for those “I’m so bored!” moments. *** Shaving Cream Rain Clouds Recipe***

Ingredients:
1 can of shaving cream
Liquid food coloring
One tall or round glass containers
Straws

Preparation:
1. Fill the glass containers with water

2. Spray the shaving cream on top of the water creating the shape of a mountain

3. Squeeze 10-20 drops of food coloring on the same spot on top of the shaving cream and wait for it to fall through the “cloud”

* O-Cedar Tip: Use the lighter colors first then the darker colors

4. Keep adding different colors on different spots on the clouds and watch the blending begin

** O-Cedar Tip: Push a straw partially through the shaving cream and add more food coloring drops through the straw
