Singapore GE2020: NCMPs' views could be ignored by Government, says Leon Perera

The Workers' Party candidate for Aljunied GRC Leon Perera has said that Non-Constituency Members of Parliament "who have lost the election don’t have the full mandate of the people" and as a result, they are MPs whose ideas can be ignored. Mr Perera, who served as an NCMP in the last Parliamentary term, has added his voice to the debate surrounding the NCMP scheme.
