SkillsFuture Credit top-up: Schools expand course offerings, increase intake for adult learners

After the government announced in Budget 2020 that it would provide SkillsFuture Credit top-ups, some schools are ramping up courses and places for adult learners to prepare for an expected increase in demand for upgrading programmes. One training provider said it hopes to grow its intake by as much as 30% within the next two years. Temasek Polytechnic currently has about 200 courses that can be paid for using SkillsFuture Credit, with security and technology programmes being among the most popular.
