Spain votes to extend government's emergency powers

In Spain, the government's plan to extend emergency powers has become a partisan debate, ahead of a vote in the lower house later today.
Spanish media is reporting Pedro Sánchez has secured the votes to prolong the state of emegency for another two weeks.
