Special education students struggle with distance learning

It's a challenging time for all students and parents who are adapting to learning in new ways, but it's even harder for those students in special education classes. Last school year alone, more than 20,000 students were enrolled in California’s special education public schools. The distance learning programs that public schools are rushing to put into place for students, in many cases, won't help those in special education who often struggle with focus.
