Street Portraiture vs Street Photography: Is There A Difference?
Description
Recently on Twitter, there was some controversy over a few people looking at other photographers work and "deeming" it not street photography. The work showed people in the street from behind and in silhouette. The main issue was stated, "those weren't street photos because you could not see faces." Now this mainly looked to be a bit trolling but it more seemed like the people saying that are just uneducated. They were meaning, street portraiture. But the "controversy" became, is there a difference between street portraiture and street photography? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
