Student Life Mentoring | University of Surrey
Description
The Student Life Mentoring service is a Peer Support service made up of current students who offer support and a listening ear for anybody new to Surrey. If you are a first year student living in halls your Student Life Mentor will visit you once a fortnight during semester time until the end of the academic year. They can talk you through any worries or concerns you may have and signpost you to a range of support services across campus and the wider Guildford community.
As of next academic year (20/21) the service will be changing its name and becoming the Peer Support team. If you will be returning to study at Surrey next year and are interested in becoming a Peer Supporter please visit www.surrey.ac.uk/peersupport for more information and to apply. The initial deadline for applications is Friday 20th March.
