This is one of the toughest Androids of 2020, with MIL-STD certification to survive a 2m drop test - that aluminium chassis is chunky but incredibly hardy. You also have a water and dust resistant IP68 finish.

Battery life is among the very greatest for a mobile phone as well, with a 9000mAh capacity once you attach that mod. And while specs for a rugged smartphone are usually mediocre, the Doogee S95 Pro serves up a triple-lens rear camera, a bright and colourful IPS display and 8GB of RAM. That Helio P90 chipset provides smooth everyday performance too.

However, the S95 Pro's software leaves a little to be desired. The modded Android 9 UI culls the apps tray, while the Play Store app mysteriously vanished. Plus, while you get plenty of bonus features thrown in, the lack of Android 10 is a real shame.
