The William Hall senior rolled in this championship final, scoring what at the time would be a new career best in 2:30.98, a US top 10 performance. He would later go on to put down another PR in 2:30.12, finishing the season with a best of 2:30.12. But it was at the Yale Track Classic where he first put it all together.
