Technical hitches responsible for Late payment Of Nov,Dec N- Power Stipend: Minister

The N- Power Programme is an initiative of the present administration direct intervention to reduce unemployment and re energise public service delivery in four sectors of education,finance,health and Agriculture.

However, the programme which started in 2016 seems to be confronted with challenges with recent agitations by beneficiaries over the non payment of their October and November 2019 stipends.

Addressing a news conference on the development, the minister of Humanitarian Affairs,Disaster management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq called for calm saying the government is on top of the situation.

She further disclosed plans by the ministry to further strengthen the Programme inline with the mantra of the present Administration to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next 10 years.
