THE BEST BOOKS I READ IN 2019 aka a video I filmed when I should have taken a shower

Ok so the day before I had to leave for my holiday trip I realized that any 2019 content should be filmed and posted before the year is over so I had to plop a camera on the table and tell you my top favorite books I read this year but I was also supposed to shower because at that point my filth had accumulated so much over the past few days of winter hibernation that I could smell my stinky socks but the sun was going to set in an hour so I knew I had to film this video now or never and now we have about 20+ min footage of me bearing the sweat and mildew of my oily hair and prickly armpits soaking through my dirty hoodie and emanating the true scum that I am. Anyway, what were your fave books this year?

TBH, a lot of my 4-star books are objectively better than some of my 5-star ones, and that's how you know the rating system is an arbitrary sham. Sometimes I wonder if I should abandon the rating system altogether because my opinions are so subjective, but it's also a lot easier to filter out books when I can quantify them.
