Description

Looking for a simple, ultra-thin, minimalist case for your iPhone 11? I've got you covered. I went through my scoring system and filtered out every case that added more than 2.5mm in terms of thickness to your iPhone.

Out of that group of thin cases, here are my Top 5:

Spigen Thin Fit 360 - Amazon US: https://mreh.ca/2OwEhQu
Pitaka MagCase - Amazon US: https://mreh.ca/395J57d
15:21 Cork Case - Amazon US: https://mreh.ca/2TbIE4K
Caudabe Synthesis - Amazon US: https://mreh.ca/2Ot2IhC
Mous Contour - Get 20% off using our code: MOBILEREVIEWSEH2002-20T5-2 @ www.mous.co

I know the Contour seems out of place but the tapered edges on the case make it just as thin as a thin minimalist case minus the poor protection of a thin case.

If you want to read about some of the other cases I cover in this video, see below!

Apple Silicone Case (00:03:23) - Decent handling, is one of the better Silicone cases for the iPhone BUT it’s pretty expensive for what it is. Still has a lot of pocket pulling power and attracts lint like Monty to food.

Peel case (00:04:05) - I was hoping Peel cases got better. They have not. There is literally no difference between a Peel case and one you’d get from a phone case vendor for $3 dollars

15:21 Cork Case (00:05:11) - Handles well, looks cool, what more can you ask?

Spigen Thin Fit (00:06:05) - Your standard PC snap on case. I choose to feature the Spigen version because they’ve hollowed out the back so that you can add a magnet to the case which allows you to magnetically mount your device.

Also, don’t drop your iPhone on the bottom or top. It’s not protected.

Spigen Thin Fit 360 (00:06:34) - The Thin Fit 360 has been one of my favorite cases for the last few years. It’s the case that offers the most protection (in the thin case/minimalist case category that is). The 360 wraps around the entire edge of the iPhone so the occasional drop isn’t going to leave any marks on your iPhone.

Also, the Thin Fit 360 comes with TWO screen protectors. That’s right, TWO!

Ballistic Soft Jacket (00:07:34) - This is our favorite Silicone case. The grip is even more aggressive than the Apple case but the larger corners means it can take a bigger hit.

UAG Civilian (00:08:17) - The Civilian is UAG’s thinnest case and also it’s worst performing. It handles terribly.

Laut Hex Elements (00:10:31) - Laut claims that the marble looking Hex Elements can sustain a 13ft drop. It’s a simple TPU cover…that also handles like a piece of marble. It’s slick, gets dirty over time and the best part? IT DOESN’T FIT the iPhone 100%.

Moshi Vitros (00:11:28) - Thin and light and cheaper than the clear Totallee case I got. The Virtros has soft edges so dust and and debris will have an easier time getting between your iPhone and case.

Bellroy Leather Case (00:12:17) - The leather on this case is nice. It won’t offer your iPhone much protection and the buttons (or lack of on the case) take a bit of getting use to.

Pitaka AirCase (00:15:33) - The OG Latercase. If you need the ultimate thin case, get the AirCase. But honestly, why would you? I can’t really fathom using this case on a day to day basis. It offers very little protection. I’d go with a skin instead. If you need a super thin case, check out the next Pitaka product.

Pitaka MagCase (00:16:29) - The standout feature of the MagCase? It has magnets AND its stupidly thin. So if you’re looking for a case than can mount to a magnetic Qi-charger? The MagCase is the one to get.

Caudabe Veil (00:17:16) - If you need a thin PC cover, get the Caudabe Veil. Like 90% of the cases in this video, it won’t offer your iPhone much in terms of protection.

Caudabe Sheath (00:18:20) - A tight fitting TPU case that will offer your iPhone a decent amount of protection. The texture is top notch and there is a couple of design features on the back that make the Sheath stand out.

Caudabe Synthesis (00:18:55) - Not the best handling case but for the iPhone 11 version, Caudabe added a strip of hatching on the edge of the case which makes it better than before.

This is one of the tougher cases in this list.

Tech 21 Studio Color (00:19:52) - Made from plants? Suppose to be better for the environment but the loose fitting case isn’t going to do your iPhone much with a face first drop.

Razer ArcTech Slim (00:20:40) - The marketing fluff for says it cools your iPhone while you game. It actually does from our in-depth test!

Ghostek Exec 4 (00:21:23) - A great handling, modular iPhone case.
