The 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Open is officially over. Tommy Marquez highlights top performances in #21point3and4 and breaks down the overall leaderboard across divisions after Week 3.

Spain’s Fabian Beneito and Australia’s Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr finished Open workout 21.3 in 7:37 earning them the top spots in the event. Graciano Rubio and Christine Middleton, both from the United States, took home the win in 21.4 with successful lifts at 365 lb. and 242 lb., respectively.

Week 3 saw impressive performances from Samuel Cournoyer and Toomey-Orr. Cournoyer had his best week finishing 21.3 and 21.4 in the top 25, and Toomey-Orr was the only athlete to finish the two workouts in the top 10 worldwide. After three weeks of workouts, Toomey-Orr and Canada’s Jeffrey Adler currently lead the individual women’s and men's leaderboards and are set to have their first Open wins.

In the age-group divisions, noteworthy performances were put up by multiple athletes in Week 3. For the Teenage 14-15 Division, first place in 21.3 went to U.S. athlete Kaiden Hogan, and Brazil’s Gabriela Lagos. In 21.4, Mexico’s Paulina Haro (Teenage Girls 16-17) lifted 232 lb., earning herself an event win.

In the adaptive division, Brett Horchar (Men Neuromuscular) finished Open Workout 21.3 in 5:47 and Julia Lane (Women Intellectual) came in at 8:23. For 21.4, big lifts were put up by U.S. athletes Casey Underberg (Men Vision) who hit 235 lb., and Jnai Zugates (Women Short Stature), who successfully lifted 90 lb.

Stay tuned for official leaderboard placements to see which athletes will move on to the next stage of competition. Individual Quarterfinals start Thursday, April 8.
