The Sweetest Proposal

In all my days of being a highly expectant, highly hopeful young woman, I still never could’ve imagined or expected THIS measure of grace from the Lord. I’ve made so many mistakes, but through it all, God has demonstrated His love and faithfulness to me by continuing to give me the good that I don’t deserve. God, you are indeed a good Father. I reflect now on the handful of times when I thought that you had given up on me and that there would be no good thing for me… oh how you’ve proven me wrong by using the very suffering that I’ve endured to give me your greatest gift: a closer relationship with yourself, and now, you’ve given me all the desires of my heart as well. I will cherish Jonathan forever.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
