The bomber was reputedly the largest wooden aircraft to be produced in any quantity during World War I, with only the Siemens-Schuckert R.VIII prototype bomber of 1916–1919 being larger. Of course, we are talking about the German Staaken-R Series, a large Zeppelin Bomber used in the early 20th century. Join us as we breakdown the successes and, ultimately the failures of this magnificent aircraft.
