Description
If you're stuck at home and not going to school, here are our top 3 tips.
Number 1, and this is the most important thing of all, recognise that it’s normal to be nervous or worried. We are all experiencing a big change. But if we follow the expert advice and look after ourselves, things will eventually go back to normal. Talk to your parents, teachers or your friends if you feel stressed or scared. They are there to help you.
Number 2, create a plan. It’s important to have a routine each day. Make sure you balance learning tasks with fun and physical activities. And don't forget lunch, recess and snacks.
And Number 3, check out ABCs huuuge library of educational shows, games and online resources. We have stuff for preschool, primary and secondary school. Find heeeeaps of great ways to keep your brain from turning to mush every weekday from 10 on ABC ME, or anytime on the ABC Education website, iview or the ABC ME app.
And here's a bonus tip, catch BTN Newsbreak every weeknight at 6.25 on ABC ME so you can stay up to date on all the latest news from Australia and around the world. Its only 5 minutes, but it's all the news you need to know.
