History isn’t exactly kind to fads. Hindsight is 20/20, and most people’s reaction to hearing about mullets or hackie sacs is, yeah, those obviously weren’t going to be popular for very long. Some people even claimed the iPhone was a fad when it was first released. We've all been swept up in fads, be it Pokemon in the 90s or mood rings in the 60s. No one is immune.
