TOP 10 AVIATION MOMENTS of February - Embraer 190, Boeing 747, Air Berlin in 2021 (4K)

My top 10 aviation moments of February 2021 - The biggest highlight was the Boeing 747SP. Currently there are just five active B747SP` s worldwide and I finally managed to film one of them. It appeared on the ILS behind an Embraer ERJ-190 of German Airways. Currently the B747SP is based in Cologne where it operates science flights for the DLR and Nasa. They will head back to its homebase Palmdale in a few weeks.


I was able to record several Aerotrans Cargo Boeing 747` s in February aswell. The hybrid B747 in former World colours at Liege and the former Centurion B747 at DUS were a nice addition to my Boeing 747 collection. Also note the UPS Boeing 747 hub at Cologne. I was able to film 4 B747-8` of UPS in germany.


Another interesting movement was the Metroliner of Binair which has recently been refurbished at Essen/Mülheim Airport. Binair is based at Essen and they currently operate four Metroliner. After the LBA removed the air operator certificate in 2018 I am quite happy they got it back in eraly 2021. Binair is a small cargo company which is mainly focused on ad hoc cargo charter flights.
