The batters belonging to different nations took bowlers to the cleaners and scored the runs in significant numbers.

Six batsmen have amassed more than 1000 runs in the current year, which is a remarkable feat. The rest four clubbed more than 900 runs.


India’s Rohit Sharma tops the list of most ODI runs in 2019, with 1490 runs in just 27 innings. He is the only player to score 1400-plus ODI runs this year.

Virat Kohli has acquired the second spot while the West Indies batter Shai Hope follows him in the third position. Hope is the only Caribbean player in the list of top 10 run-scorer.


Apart from Hope, Joe Root is the only English player to feature in the list.

Australia’s limited-overs captain Aaron Finch is placed at the fourth position while Pakistan’s Babar Azam is at number 5.


New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson also features among the top-10 run-scorer list along with Ross Taylor and the Aussie southpaw Usman Khawaja.

Imam-ul-Haq is another Pakistan batsman who holds the last spot on this list.
