TOP 10 BEST MOVIES OF 2019 (My Beloved Films of the Year)

Behold! I am pleased to present my top 10 list of my favorite movies that were released in theaters during 2019. There are important rules to consider.

RULE 1 = I can only list the movies that I saw in theaters the first time. If I first saw the movie via a home entertainment service, then the film is ineligible.

RULE 2 = Any major motion picture that had a theatrical release in 2019 is eligible, as long as it is not a re-release of a classic movie. Movies that were created for home entertainment -- Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Warner Brothers Animation -- but were released in theaters can be considered for the list. Movies that were released outside of the United States before 2019 and later debuted stateside in 2019 can be considered for the list. If my viewership of the movie follows Rule 1, then the movie is eligible.

RULE 3 = My rating are based on my personal enjoyment of the films. Therefore, movies that widely considered as bad, terrible, garbage, and rotten are eligible if I personally liked them. The films’ Rotten Tomatoes scores and Cinemascore rankings are irrelevant. If the movie is wretched but I enjoyed it and it followed Rule 1 and 2, then it is eligible.
