There are two places in the northeast of the country where rain is embraced as just another tourist attraction.A visitor can brag about it to their friends after staying in the villages of Mawsynram and Cherrapunji because they've been to the wettest place on Earth! Cherrapunji holds the Guinness World Record for the highest monthly rainfall. Located in southwest Cameroon, the rainy town faces the South Atlantic Ocean.Although India holds the Guiness World Record, the average annual rainfall in Debundscha is 394 inches, with Mawsynram at 375 inches and 392 inches for Cherrapunji.

Denmark is a European country located north of Germany and south of Norway. Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark, it's also known to be a city that is always visited by rain. Copenhagen is a famous tourist destination mainly because of the Tivoli Gardens and Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid statue.The average annual rainfall in the city is 46 inches and the least rainy months if you're thinking of having the driest possible visit is February and March. If it's a clear day and planning to visit the City Hall Square or the Stroget, be cautious and still bring an umbrella.
